Getting a Library Card.
Please come to the front desk and bring an ID with your current address or an ID along with a bill or item with your name and address on it. If you live outside of El Paso limits, we will check to see which Library you pay taxes to to determine your home library.

- Children can not get a card until 1st grade. Parents and guardian's are responsible for materials checked out using the children's cards.
- Cards may be used at other library's in Central Illinois that are connected to RSA. Patrons are able to check out at Bloomington's Library, but will have to take proof of residency and library card to check out the first time.
- RSA libraries include, but are not limited to Gridley, Hudson, Eureka, Filger and Normal. Please double check fine policies at each library.
Find my pin?
If you go to RSACat website, you can reset your pin by selecting Log In and Forgot Pin. You can also call the library at (309)-527-4360 if you need help resetting your pin.
Place a hold or renew hold?
There are multiple ways to place a hold on a book. You can place a hold through RSACat online, through the RSACat mobile app, by coming into the library or calling the library. You will need to log in to your account and complete the steps to reserve the item. To renew an item, you can go through RSACat online or through the RSACat mobile app for the first renewal. After you renew your item(s) 1 time, you will have to come in or call to renew the item(s) again. If another patron is waiting for the item, we will not be able to renew the item.
Borrow a book?
You can browse the library's collection or put a book on hold. All items except DVD's are checked out for 2 weeks at a time. DVD's are checked out for 1 week at a time. We do not charge a fee for any item and there are no late fees. If you owe more than $5 on your account, you will not be able to check out. This includes lost books and fines from other libraries.
You can also borrow items from our online resources like Libby, Boundless, and Hoopla.

Reserve a room?
To reserve either the Community Room or Activity Room, please call us at (309)-527-4360. We can not guarantee that the room will be available. Library Activities have first priority and after that, it's on a first come, first served basis.
Make a material suggestion?
If you would like to suggest material for the library to get or a program, please fill out this form. Submit a Program Proposal?
Thank you for your interest in presenting an event with the El Paso District Library. The Library welcomes program proposals and recommendations from the public, qualified speakers, authors, and performers. Each presenter or program will be evaluated based on potential interest/benefit to the community, budgetary considerations and space requirements.

Request Home Delivery?
We have a volunteer who is willing to deliver books to those patrons who can not make it to the library. Books will be delivered and picked up every 2 weeks. They can be dropped off Monday through Friday and either in the morning or afternoon. Please fill out this form so that we can start delivering books to you.
Change my information?
If you have a new address, phone number, email or changed/preferred name, please come into the library. This way we can make sure the your information is updated accurately. If you do not feel comfortable or able to come in, please call us at (309)-527-4360.
